Hello, lovely people! My name is Somi, and I'm a passionate yoga instructor with a strong background in Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, and Power Yoga. I began my yoga journey in 2010 while dealing with anxiety, like many others. Growing up in Iran, I was often nervous and angry, which affected my mom. I turned to yoga as a way to calm my mind and find peace. At the time, I was physically weak, very thin, and had poor posture, which caused a hump in my upper back due to how I sat and a lack of strength. Yoga quickly became a daily practice, and I experienced incredible changes in my body, mind, and soul.
In 2012, I moved to Finland on my own, and it was there that I realized I wanted to become a yoga instructor. My goal is to share what I’ve learned and help others who are seeking balance, strength, and transformation in their lives.
Whether you're a complete beginner eager to learn yoga with a focus on alignment or an advanced practitioner looking to enhance your balance, strength, and flexibility, my classes are tailored to meet your needs. In my classes, I first focus on addressing your physical, mental, or emotional challenges so that you can develop strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. You will notice a shift in your mindset after just one session, and soon, your overall shape and health mindset will begin to change.
I'm excited to offer digital yoga packages that feel like private sessions, guiding you step by step through each movement. These packages are perfect for those who are busy, babysitting, unable to afford yoga classes consistently, or simply unable to attend in-person sessions. You'll have the flexibility to practice as often as you need, helping you stay consistent, which is the first step toward achieving your wellness goals.
I'm a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance, and my passion is helping you achieve your best self through yoga. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
